Oh Boy!

I have so much to tell you!  We traveled.  I cooked.  We've done some stuff around the house.  But what you really need to know is that we've been working on our biggest project yet:  a baby!

This was a long project in the making.  It did not go quite as easily or quickly as we always imagined it would.  But we're in the game now and we're so extra excited because of the mess we've been through.  We can't wait to meet our little guy.  Yes, that's right... a boy!  We definitely wanted a boy, but to be honest, I know nothing about them.  I'm much more comfortable with girls, but I really wanted a boy.  I think we can handle this...right???

So how are we looking these days?  Well, he's looking like this:

So far, I've been feeling good and getting excited.  We're getting things done around the house so I can focus on the big project:  his room! You know my brain is spinning with ideas, but I will not allow myself to really work on it until I get my to do list done!

I'll try to keep you posted with regular updates up until the big day: January 13. That means I'm 18 weeks right now.  But for now, I'll leave you with this picture of the wee little one waving to all my blog readers (if in fact there is anyone still reading here).
