Game On!

It was a rainy weekend here in New Orleans.

This was a bummer.  Not just because it was a four day weekend (I actually didn't mind the tropical storm, because I knew it would encourage me to get stuff done in the house).  The real bummer was that our family had planned a big tailgate for the first Tulane game vs. Southeastern this past Saturday, and TS Lee was trying to ruin our fun!!

The reason for the tailgate?

#28 Bronzo.  That's my cousin!  He's playing for Tulane this year!!  And a lot of our friends and family wanted to come see his first game.

So we did what good New Orleanians do-- we had a hurricane party of sorts.  The good thing about tailgating at the Dome is that you can go down one level in the garage & be covered.  We had lots of food (lots.  really, lots.) and lots of friends of family, despite the rain.

It was such a fun time, and the best part is... the Wave won!!  And the other best part is that Clark (the son of our friends Craig & Emily and our son's future best friend and baseball teammate) got to go to his first Tulane game!

Which he obviously loved!!!
