I really liked it... I liked the look, but I wasn't sure the felt was the right look for the nursery. And I wasn't sure the $74 pricetag was right for the budget :) We needed something slightly less pricey, of the do it yourself variety!
So I started researching some fabric birds that I could make. I found these...
Next step: fabric. I needed a bunch of coordinating fabrics, so I figured a charm pack would solve that problem. This is the one I chose:
And then I got to work. Sewed a few birds. Got a branch from Uncle Hank. Put it all together, and voila...
Yay! I love it. It is hanging above the glider (we have pictures hanging above the crib). And it was waaaay less than the 'spensive one on Etsy!!!
So there's a sneak peak of the nursery-- you can see the mobile & the curtains. One of these days, I'll get it all finished and show you the whole thing!
